A Little Bit About Our Rooibos
Several centuries ago, native bushmen named Khoi Khoi discovered a delicious tasting shrub - Rooibos.
(Afrikaans for "Red Bush".)
The Khoi Khoi people used Rooibos to treat many ailments. Later, in the 1800s, settlers aquired a taste for the bushmen's red brew.
Harvested from the Cedarberg Mountains area, near Cape Town, South Africa, caffeine-free Rooibos tea is said to calm digestive disorders and various stomach problems.
It also helps to reduce nervous tension and to alleviate allergies.
Rooibos tea is a naturally relaxing drink, quite sweet in taste, high in antioxidants and low in tannin.
